Pontederia cordata 'Pink', commonly known as pink pickerelweed, is an upright, clump-forming perennial with large, lance-shaped green leaves forming architectural foliage. In summer it produces spikes of tubular, soft pink flowers with yellow throats, creating a vibrant display along pond margins and in shallow water.
This cultivar is valuable for pollinators, especially bees and butterflies, and enhances wetland biodiversity. Its upright, clump-forming habit and tolerance of consistently moist or shallowly submerged soil make it ideal for pond edges, bog gardens, and naturalistic water features.
