Get ready for a brilliant day out for dogs and their humans! 🐶❤️
The North East Pet Shop Annual Dog Show is back for 2026, with fun dog show classes, Fastest Paws agility, prizes, rosettes, local business stalls, food and drink, charity fundraising and plenty more throughout the day.
Whether your dog is a perfect pedigree, a loveable rescue, a golden oldie or simply the best sausage catcher in Hebburn, there will be something for everyone to get involved with! 😂🐾

🏆 The Fun Dog Show
Our main dog show will take place outside The North East Pet Shop and will feature a range of fun classes throughout the day.
You definitely don't need a professional show dog to enter!
Our classes are designed for normal family pets, with plenty of fun categories and prizes to be won. 🐶🏅
Classes will include categories such as:

🐾 Most Handsome Boy
🐾 Prettiest Girl
🐾 Best Pedigree
🐾 Best Crossbreed
🐾 Best Rescue
🐾 Best Trick
🐾 Best Working Dog
🐾 Best Sausage Catcher
🐾 Golden Oldie
🐾 Prettiest Eyes
🐾 Best in Show

⏱️ Fastest Paws Agility Challenge
Who is the fastest dog in Hebburn? 👀🐾
Dogs will have the chance to take on our fun agility course and race against the clock!
This is fun agility and not a professional competition, so dogs of all abilities are welcome to have a go.
Owners can run alongside their dog, encourage them and use treats or toys to help them around the course.
Times will be recorded throughout the day and added to our leaderboard.

The fastest dogs at the end of the event will win prizes! 🏆
Registration for Fastest Paws will be available alongside the main dog show.
🌭 Could Your Dog Be Hebburn's Best Sausage Catcher?
One of our favourite classes is back 😂🌭🐶
Dogs will be challenged to catch a sausage and show us their best catching skills.
Graceful catches are welcome.
Complete chaos is also absolutely acceptable. 😂
There will be a prize for our Best Sausage Catcher!
🛍️ Local Business Stalls
We're inviting local businesses to join us for the day and showcase what they do.
Expect a selection of local stalls, dog businesses and independent traders.
We'll update this page with confirmed businesses as they join us.

Food and drink will be available throughout the day.

And yes... we'll probably need plenty of coffee ourselves 😂☕️
❤️ Supporting Local Charities
Our annual dog show is also about supporting our local community.
Local charity fundraising will take place throughout the event, with more details about the charities we're supporting announced shortly.
Please bring some change and help us support some brilliant local causes. ❤️
🐶 Daycare & Hydro Open Day
There will also be an opportunity to find out more about local dog daycare and hydro services during the event.
Visitors can head across, have a look around and find out more about the facilities and services available.
More information will be announced before the event.
🐾 Important Information
Please keep dogs on leads unless taking part in an activity where you are instructed otherwise.
Dogs remain the responsibility of their owner at all times.
Please give nervous or reactive dogs plenty of space.
Fresh water will be available for dogs.
The event will take place outdoors, so please dress for the wonderful North East weather 😂🌦️
